Maxicon Container Line, a subsidiary of Seaways, is one of the top two NVOCCs in India for dry cargo and special equipment. Headquartered in Singapore, we are a well established NVOCC player serving across 73 locations (with 24 own offices) in South East Asia, Indian Subcontinent and Middle East. With an asset base of about 16,000 containers, Maxicon had handled more than 175,000 Throughput TEUs.
Maxicon offers trans-shipment services from ports in India to ports in Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Far East and Middle East destinations through hub ports like Singapore, Colombo, Port Klang and Jebel Ali. Of the total NVOCC volumes, Maxicon gets 40% volumes from its India accounts. Having been well positioned in all the trade lanes it operates, Maxicon is steadily increasing its share of own-branch cargo which is now accounting for over 80% of the total volumes.
